​Missy Lay-Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard are a creative duo that has been transforming the dance world for the past two decades with their unique choreographic style and superb musicality.

Together their professional credits include:
Broadway/National tours of CATS as Victoria and Tumblebrutus; Jesus Christ Superstar; Anniversary Tour (Carl Anderson and Ted Neeley); Broadway’s Footloose; Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular; Soap: Guiding Light; “All I Want for Christmas” Mariah Carey video/co-choreographer; appearances on Saturday Night Live, MTV/VH1 and The Today Show.

Both are the Artistic Directors and Founders of Exhale Dance Tribe (‘25 to Watch’ by Dance Magazine). Exhale is the resident company of the Broadway Series at the Aronoff Center for the Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. Exhale Dance Tribe premiered at the Merce Cunningham Performance Studios in 2012. On the horizon the couple will be premiering work at the New Zealand Arts Festival March 2020 with their dance company Exhale Dance Tribe and Okareka Dance Company (Auckland), U.S. premiere 2021.

Performance/Choreography Credits: Mariah Carey, husband & wife duo; Over the Rhine, Peter Frampton, Lou Bega, rapper Rakim, Bootsy Collins, Tarkan (Turkish pop star), Paramount Productions, Cincinnati Ballet (8 seasons), Exhale Dance Tribe (15 seasons), Kings Productions, Orion Pictures, Cincinnati Shakespeare Theater, and Tommy Boy Records.
Featured in publications: New York Times, Fit Magazine “Babes of Broadway”, Dance Magazine, Dance Spirit and Cincinnati's City Beat, Enquirer, and Post. The couple was also honored with a Princess Grace Award nomination for Excellence in Choreography for their full length work for Cincinnati Ballet. Films: Little Man Tate / Jodie Foster. (double)

Adjunct Faculty: Broadway Dance Center (NYC), Dean College, Okareka Summer School at UNITEC New Zealand, Maggie Allesee Department of Theater/Dance at Wayne State University (guest), Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Conservatory CCM (guest), NKU, UK, Wright State University (guest), Planet Dance Cincinnati, SCPA, and North Carolina School of the Arts. The duo created a full-length ballet for Cincinnati Ballet’s Infamous Love Songs with International musical genius Over The Rhine LIVE. Followed by choreographing a live show with OTR and Exhale Dance Tribe for the Restoration Project (Emery Theater/Cincinnati) Requiem Project on 11-11-11.

This dynamic duo understands creativity to be the ultimate form of expression and they embrace continuing to inspire others to honor their own unique journey.

Contempo-Collab Artistic Directors/Co-Producers:
Paula Gammon Wilson and Daniela Andana
Paula Gammon Wilson is a graduate of the Walnut Hill School for the Arts (USA - Diploma-Design and Production); Pomona College (USA - BA-Dance & Theater Management), the New School University (USA - BA-Screenwriting and Third World Cinema); and the Alvin Ailey School Professional Division (USA - Certificate Dance). She has worked as a professional director, production manager, and dancer/choreographer for dance, music and film companies in the US, Asia, South America, and Europe since 1997. She is a Union stage manager; the co-director of TIPDI (The International Partner Dance Intensive) in New York City; and the Owner/Director of award-winning audio company Pepsqually VO and Sound Design, Inc. in Manhattan. Daniela Andana holds a degree in Physical Education from the Faculty of Human Motricity and Dance at the School of Dance, a postgraduate degree in Performing Arts from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, and interned as the assistant to the stage director at Companhia do Chapitô, as part of the Performing Arts Management and Production course - Fundação GDA. She has been a freelance dancer since 2006, and was a resident dancer with the Almada Dance Company from 2010 to 2016. She is an award-winning contemporary dance choreographer who has set works on companies/dancers in Italy, Croatia, and Belgium. She has served as a Professor of Contemporary Dance, Ballet, and Lindy Hop since 2009. She holds certifications in Low Pressure Fitness, Clinical Pilates, and Pre- and Postpartum Exercise. She is currently earning her certification in Romana’s Pilates, through Inês Moreira Pilates and Wellness.
