Want to Dance With Us?

Admittance to Contempo-Collab is by audition only.
​Enrollment is limited to 25 dancers for Week 1 and 25 dancers for Week 2.
How to Apply and Audition:
1. Complete the application by visiting: www.contempo-collab.com/contempocollabregistrationen.html
2. Complete your audition video and submit it with your application form.
We ask that you submit a video showing the following:
- 24-32 counts of contemporary, modern, or ballet-based center work (preferably your own choreography).
- Grand allegro or some movement across the floor with at least one jump.
- 1 minute of you talking directly to camera. Your 1-minute of speaking can be about anything you want, and please speak whatever language is most comfortable for you. Your 1-minute does not need to be in English or Portuguese. 
- Your video does not need to be professionally produced! Cell-phone videos are fine. Please make sure that there is ample light, that your audio is audible, and that we can see your whole body when you're dancing.  

*IMPORTANT: If you're applying for the Week 2 "Improvers" program, we want to see your video, too!
​Show us your wonderful selves! Don't be scared. We are not looking for perfection! We want to make sure that we can provide the best learning environment possible - and that means planning the classes specifically for our participants. We need to see you in order to do that.
3. Acceptance Notification
We will notify all applicants of their acceptance on a "rolling basis" until all 25 spots are full. If you are not accepted, we will also notify you.
4. Confirm Your Attendance
You made it! Acknowledge your acceptance and place a 50% deposit to hold your spot. (Installment plans available. See "Fine Print" section below.)

Week 1: June 29 - July 4

36 hours of classes + studio showing.
Fee: $500 US/445 Euro
Special Rate: $450 US/400 Euro*

Week 2: July 6 - July 11

Fee: $500 US/445 Euro

Fine Print:
- If you are accepted to Contempo-Collab, but are unable to place the 50% deposit to secure your spot - let us know! We are happy to work out a payment/installment plan with you.
- All intensive fees must be paid in full by April 15, 2020.
- Fees are transferrable, but not refundable. If you are accepted and place your deposit, but are subsequently unable to attend, we'll put you in touch with another dancer so that you can transfer your registration to them.
- We are offering two work-study scholarships to dancers based in Portugal. Please notify us if you are a Portugal-based dancer when joining the mailing list.
